Title: AdS/CFT, tensor networks and Ising model
Abstract: I will review the recent new relations between the AdS/CFT correspondence and quantum information, in particular in relation to tensor networks. Using a map between random tensor networks and the Ising model, we study a finite-temperature transition in the entanglement entropy and in the information-theoretic quantity of complexity. Gravity and tensor network results agree. Moreover, we explain how meson masses and spectral functions may be evaluated from appropriate generalizations of AdS/CFT, in particular the rho meson mass as function of the pi meson mass squared. We find agreement with large-N lattice gauge theory results.
