Speaker: Victor Herdeiro (King's College, London) Title: Numerical estimation of structure constants in the 3d Ising CFT through Markov chain UV sample Abstract: For a finite Ising lattice, we will introduce a lattice dilation operator acting on a spin configuration, equivalent to an inverse Kadanoff transformation. Based on this ingredient, we will construct a MCMC interpretable as a flow towards a UV fixed point, which will be identified as the critical point of the Ising lattice. This MCMC will be shown to offer samples of configurations with negligible finite size and boundary effects. This will be backed by measurements of lattice correlation functions matching (to some precision) their infinite bulk equivalent. Finally, all these pieces will offer a numerical estimation of some structure constants of the 3d Ising CFT.
