Speaker: Alberto Ramos (CERN) Title: Three topics with twisted boundary conditions Abstract: Twisted boundary conditions offer an interesting possibility to define finite volume renormalization schemes for gauge theories. Together with the Gradient Flow it has been tested recently by computing the running coupling in pure SU(2) YM theory and used to investigate the conformality of SU(3) YM theory with 12 flavors in the fundamental representation. This setup has also played an important role in unrevealing the structure of cutoff effects for flow quantities. In this talk I will review these three topics.
